Tips to change the Custom Size of Paper in Microsoft Word

Custom sizes and types of papers are determined by the printer during setup. The paper settings are then input by the user on the main setup page. These sections will provide instructions on how to modify the settings for specific sizes or types.

Create a custom-designed paper width and paper type at the manufacturer’s setup page. You can register a custom-designed paper height using the driver for your printer. If the height of your custom paper is greater than 432 millimeters (17in), you can use the back output tray to print instead of the standard tray.o In the Print dialog box, choose “Fit to” and move the tray exactly to where you want your custom papers to be printed.

To alter the width of your personalized paper, click the tab Printing Setup. Click “IKBS” under the section titled “Printer Properties”. In the General section under “IKBS Settings,”” click ” slider” and then drag the sliders to the left until you see ” Invalid Setup Value?” If you see how to write a book ” an invalid Setup Value?” then click ” OK.” In the Print Results section, you’ll be able to see the new custom size and width.

o To change the custom size width Return to the Printing Setup tab and click “IKBS.” In the General section you will need to click ” slider” and then move the sliders to the right until you get ” Invalid Setup Value? Click ” slider” in the General section. Move the sliders to the right until you see ” Invalid Setup Value?

o Use the arrow keys to move the sliders to the left until you see “Change Custom Paper Widths.” The number of pages you can alter is set automatically by holding down the shift key, and then pressing enter. To undo the change, simply press the return key. To make changes to other pages, repeat the process until you are satisfied with the new custom page size. You can move the sliders to the left or right using the Arrow keys.

To change the sheet or tray sizes to change the sizes of the tray and sheet, you must first open the Printing Setup. Under “Printers and Paper Custom Paper Sizes,” select the appropriate paper sizes for your printer. Then under “Trays and Sheets: Auto Tray Switch Function,” select the setting that shows the automatic tray switch function. When you print the next time documents, the printer driver will automatically alter the size of the tray and sheet to fit the specifications of your custom printing.

If you want to alter the size of the page first, navigate to the Printing Setup and then click “page size”. Choose the size you prefer from the drop-down menu. Select “stretch” to stretch the page before printing. Otherwise, the current custom-size will be used. To change the new size, choose “set new size” in the pull-down menu.

o To print black and white documents you must set the paper dimensions to black and white in the Printing Setup. Then, select “print.” The new size will be added to the document page. To alter the color, simply select the color you prefer and then choose it in the same drop-down menu as the custom size of the paper.

o If the paper length exceeds 430 mm (17 inches), set the custom size as big as you can. If you’re using a driver that is not a printer, you should check the height of the tray. In the pull-down menu select “auto tray Height”. The driver for printing will calculate the proper height automatically based upon the display height. If this option is not available, the maximum tray depth will be utilized.

To increase the paper tray depth, select “set depth to default.” This option is only available to the tray that isn’t a printer. Once you have chosen the depth that you want, the maximum depth will be applied. You may not need to increase your document’s depth beyond 297 mm if it is printed on a thicker paper such as thick or bond paper.

If you are printing documents, you should always open the file menu by clicking on the “file” icon instead of the “Print” button. A majority of printers allow you to open the menu menu for files by pressing the “print” button instead. However, some printers require you to click on the “print” button before you can change the size of your custom print. You can also open the menu for files by clicking the “print” button instead of the “Printing” button.

After you have finished the process of customizing the size of your paper, click the “OK” button on the PRINTS AND FOLDS screen. The custom paper size will be added to the document. The entire process will take just a few seconds. If there are errors the error message will appear. You can also type in your new password. If there is no error message, then the custom-sized paper size was applied successfully.
